"In my abstract works, color stands at the center as both the subject and material of the painting. Each color possesses qualities that influence our perceptions and the use of artistic techniques. I aim to explore the interplay and interaction of color with shapes, lines, and structures within the pictorial space, independent of the effects and meanings of individual colors on the viewer. The light and the heavy, the calm and the restless, the open and the closed are to be balanced, resulting in a ’correct’ whole."
