Since early 1992, Said Tiraei has been living in Germany, where he has devoted himself intensively to painting and developed a highly personal artistic style. His works range from lively to naïve, from tolerant to accusatory — all executed with passion and conviction. In his paintings, he applies oil colors to canvas using a specific technique known as bold, poster-like painting (plakative Malerei). The subjects of his work are diverse and far-reaching.
