Throughout all my work I always pursue one and the same aim: to create harmony. I work with the medium of oil colours and use a spatula as a tool. Painting offers me the diversity, wealth and intensity of oil colours, which I apply lavishly and energetically with my spatula, producing layer upon layer, forming reliefs and drawing furrows. While nature definitely provides the sources of my inspiration, my pictures are not an attempt to copy nature. They are not true-to-life images of real landscapes but rather a trace of the memory revived by my sensitivity and altered by the emotions and feelings I experienced in contact with nature, e.g. when going on walks. With a particular intensity I feel the cycle of the seasons and the interaction of the four elements: water, air, earth and fire. The changing lighting conditions throughout the course of the day never fail to fascinate me.
